actually i am very interest to join team for playing football league, for amateur la...
but i found less info abt this, and very seldom listen people participate in any football league, mb i hv too less fren who involve in football game...
except those proffesional club, i think most hv the amateur league the player hv to bear the fee (field rental, hire referee, etc) themselves

Yup, we're in a team called MyRAWK, playing in the Garden League mentioned above. SSPKD is also in the same league.

We pay RM220 / team for every game, divided among all players. Check out the futsal thread as well; they could be sending a team next season.

RM220 / team includes referee. But that's for the league. If you organize your own games, eg book your own field and find referees, can probably get cheaper.

ngcw, LYN FC is contemplating forming a team to participate in the garden social league next season. do check out the futsal thread from time to time for any football friendly. you are most welcomed to join us.

we are actively looking for committed players until we can have the numbers to form a team

myrawk is our arch-rival. we have yet to beat them in our series of friendlies.

that mean, play for whole competition of the garden social league just pay RM220 / team
no extra fee other than that? my fren tell me hv to pay RM10 / person, i thought is need to pay every match...

The futsal team is still very active though.

Maybe someone should take the initiative to make a football team by the name of LYN FC.

Just got back from UK about 5 weeks back but now down with influenza B so quarantined at home =( aching to play football again. any chance of the players from the ol saturday morning sessions coming together for another round ? (i've got to shake off my virus first =/ )

Most of the old members are still around, lurking either in LYN's futsal session on Mondays, or part of MyRAWK in the league :-)

The problem with the LYN team is that we cannot find enough players to consistently play friendlies, let alone tournaments.

I think it would be great if we can somehow merge the really committed players from the LYN futsal team with whoever is interested here.

not easy..to make a good team...need coach...need players to be really committed into training...and game...
otherwise...the team is just a piece of messy puzzle...

I haven't played field football since I've left HK in 2002.
Just started playing again in the Garden Sixers League.

However before the league even ended, it was cancelled just at the beginning of fasting month. The organizers seemed to be pissed due to the high number of cancellations. I assume it was because of the few Malay teams that pulled out which I am sure was connected to the start of the fasting month. If my theory is right, I find it extremely distateful of the organizers. Anyways, I don't know the truth.

In any case, it was going to be the last season anyways because of the Cardiff City or 1 Malaysia related stuff.

So I fell in love with football again and would like to participate in a league in Klang Valley. I know that in Singapore they have a proper website for the amateur league but I couldn't find anything in Malaysia so far.

Anyone has any idea?
