just got my plasma 42" s series yesterday, so far so good but I do feel that the sharpness and clarity of the picture can be improved...should I use the s-video instead of normal cable can enhance this? what setting should i use? right now, I'm suing normal mode view with contrast setting to 45, brightness 0, color 45 while sharpness increase to 90 drastically...
appreciate your advise with this..

STill no valid real reason why the S series withdrawan from the market but not the X & even the older C series...Something wrong wth this model liao.....I am suspecting proabably the burn-in issue reported in another thread "Panansonic screen burn"

Reason. All cases of such screen (Currently) burn only on S series....

Well this is just my 2 sen small brain hypothesis hor..dun flame after this haha

Well, for me after comparimg lotsa plasma/LCD side by side...I can't really see much diff between full HD & HD ready...Infact it's almsot the same if u put C, X & S series side by side....Even LCD & plasma also not much diff except viewing LCD from far side angle really no good..

What I saw salesman doing is using pirated DVD and/or astro. yawn.gif Last time I saw one salesman demo a blu-ray to customer when I pass by the HSL, I thought this is very interesting, but when I walk closer to them, I noted that is pirated BD and it is not BD anyway, it is just pirated DVD9. shakehead.gif So, I quickly walk away. LOL laugh.gif

Maybe your eye sight not sharp enough to spot the difference, good for you as you could spend less for Non-Full HD tv tongue.gif . There is definitely a difference as Full HD image is clearer and sharper in details and have brighter image overall, that what I could spot between these 2
