agent_47 has just released a Valkyrie FireStormLEO v5.7 23518 & Valkyrie FireStormLEO v5.7 24001 for Rhodium AKA HTC Touch Pro 2.
He'll be releasing the same ROMs for Xperia X1 later on too. |

So it's basically a Manila 2.5 for Topaz, on X1. |

Been using 3G calls / 3G data without the need to turn on & off the phone like you said. |
