The differences is not about the home screen, it's about the ROM.

Not quite sure about changing wallpaper in start menu but why did you add a wallpaper on the home screen?
It's going to lag the homescreen like hell, I've tried once but I re-flash the phone immidiately after realizing the super slow speed after attaching wallpaper to the homescreen.

I re-flashed because I can't find a way to remove the wallpaper.

Sense, Manila & TouchFlo is the same thing lah.

Manila, Sense & TouchFLO is the homescreen tab where you can use your fingers to flow through different tabs, it's a program developed by HTC, hence it's original name TouchFLO.

Anyway, EnergyROM is good if you want eye candy, but most of us here stays away from EnergyROM as it's really..... slow.

Why do you think Valkyrie thread has the biggest number of replies? Because his ROMs has a bit of everything.

No, you're wrong.
Those are ROMs with HTC Sense.
HTC Sense is Manila. It's just different in names.
To install SPB Shell, it's better if you find those clean ROMs that doesn't have Manila cooked in the ROM.

Energy has released a .cab file to completely disable the QuickMenu that is cooked in his ROMs.

Now, which Energy ROM should I use.

These are my personal opinion on the QuickMenu & the QuickMenu is the only reason why I don't use EnergyROMs.
1. The QuickMenu lags the phone, startup speed is also affected by it. Let alone the loading of Manila is even slower when QuickMenu is installed.
2. It's ugly.

Yeah, heard about the 5.6 for Xperia too.
I'll let you guys try that one first.

I'm gonna try EnergyROM 23518 20110 StandardM2.5 with QuickMenu disabled.

Does anyone knows what keyboard is cooked inside agent's ROMs?
The keyboard that came with Energy ROMs is rather..... too small, even for the XT9 keyboard.

MaxManila is not for our X1. It lags like hell even for those that has been cooked in ROM.
Yea it's beautiful all right + with other functional stuff & more customization, but with our 528MHz processor, it just doesn't cut it.

Can't install Papago! X5, error at the final stages of installation, it says cannot create directory bla bla bla.
1st I tried installing directly to my MicroSD using Card Reader, failed at the final stage.
Then I tried installing through activesync, also failed at the final stage. Haih.

Probably because I'm installing using Windows 7 64Bit.
