i can assign ringtone to contact. but only phone call can.. assign different text message sound nid 3rd party software.
i can simply assignment ringtone to contact by go to that contact n select ringtone there..

ya... it reli works like a charm~ I jz not used to the white theme onli~

actually it jz the home tab tat everything is in black n white~ Others than tat is quite normal~
mayb is the 1st time i use the GTX theme~ it seems a bit "bright" to me bcoz of the white color background~ lolx~

i mean the GTX theme.. its so plain.. mostly mono color icon.. that y its fast i heard..

not like the normal sense 2.5, too colorful until our x1 GPU render also slowdown.. haha...

BTW, from what i heard. X1 is using ATi 's GPU. while other HTC devices is using Qualcomm 's QTv GPU. HTC developed a great driver for QTv, to make things compatible, out ATi 's GPU driver is making a framework to make things created for QTv is compatible with our ATi's.

due to this constraint, and also lacks of driver development, X1's graphic is terrible low powered. furthermore, from what i heard again, this GPU so underpowered until cuts the CPU's speed to only 400mhz.
tats y both our Graphic n Processing is lower compared to HTC's devices.

again, this is 'from what i heard' a.k.a rumor...

Hmm.... Suddenly found out 1 problem in Energy GTX themed~
Although i have installed Sunglobe, however, the chinese words show some symbols instead of proper chinese words~
The most strange thing is that it onli happens in file's name~
for example, my phone cant show the file's name of a text file which is in chinese, but the content of the text file which is oso chinese are show properly~
I din face tis kind of problem in Valkyrie rom~
Any idea ?

what i got is the music tab din show chinese song name properly.
im too lazy to install nitrogen, so use the tf3d's audio manager. which is terrible.. hahaha..

Monocolor on GTX? On the contrary,my friend The icons are all colored. Even the icons in the settings. But it is kinda bright and whitish though, its wallie Beats me why it is fast although Home Cookies is installed.

Oh really? Hmm.. Never installed sunglobe till now so did not detected any problems. But i shall try installing it tonight after dinner. I'll give my feedback later

My X1 is having problems with the QWERTY keyboard...

When i press some keys, it registers.

When i press some keys, 2-3 of the same letters come out.

I checked google and this is a common problem.

Anyone of u have the same problem?

Mine is still under warranty. So gonna get it fix. But will the problem come again?

I really like the keyboard.

Dude, you really like the keyboard? How come. To me the keyboard buttons are quite hard to press on, and when coupled with dust problems its totally unpractical. It only serves to impress my friends when i slide it out, LOL

I used the samsung i780 previously.

Using the X1 keyboard gives me better space to press the buttons more precisely.

But the dust problems has changed my opinion abt it. I can't be servicing the X1 every 4 months. I bought the phone in January 2010 and used the keyboard heavily.

Maybe i'll go for Vivaz. So far no similar keyboard issues.

The keyboard buttons are spaced adequately i guess Hmm, actually you can service it your self if you're adventurous enough There's a guide here, and here's the Link from the 1st page of this thread Though the risk is yours to bear.

how would u compare i780 keyboard to BB 9700?

i feel 9700 keyboard quite small too.. but i can still type comfortably even tho im pretty new to BB. the curvature of keyboard they got is quite nice.

hehe.. somewhat high risk task.. lol, at least for me..

guys, not sure it's been answered..but cant find the answer...when playing 3gp video...the video lags...any idea how to fix it?..thanks...
