just want to add I've had my hands on test with the demo units at apple store. its ok I suppose, if you are one of those with a nice amount of disposable income, sure, why not, people like that blow 10000 on handbags etc. Its a nice thing to have by your bedside, in the toilet, living room, on the go.

If you are the kind of person still struggling with bills or still paying off any CC debt. save it. its not worth it. and don't be an idiot.

it has a certain weighty feel, can certainly see some fatigue after 1hr. one would imagine bigger on screen keyboard = easier, actually I found myself mistakenly hitting the side keys qaw quite often and other keys because of its sensitive touch capabilities, it was quite annoying, its ok if you are -careful-

iphone apps DO look horrible. and ipad apps are stupid expensive. wouldn't know why anyone would want to watch shows on the go, unless you are a public transport person. there are only so many watch baby laugh youtube videos to watch. also I think 3g version should be default. wifi only is very crippled in mobility.

I have the iphone 3gs, thats why I believe its nice to have by your bed, good to have when you wake up and lazy to sit up boot the computer what not, just pick it up and check twitter or mail or whatnot. also nice to have when doing No2 of course. but seriously watching movies, if you can afford iPad, you probably already own a 46+" lcd, might as well watch on that.

it is quite fancy, I'm sure with its apple keynote if you're trying to sell something person to person it can be very effective at bedazzling the customer/client.

I'll just end it by saying its nice. but don't be an idiot if you haven't even upgrade your computer or own an iphone. iphone>ipad. But if you have $$$, more power to you.

myself I will wait for the tablet wars to start, see what other companies do, but I do believe should iPad 2G come out. its probably going to be the magic. ok bye

I like to read and always carry my laptop. But problem is laptop are not really mobile enough. Not just like a book where instanlly you can read it. I have a lot of PDF reading but I only able to read it in my home or if I have longertime to powerup my laptop.

I will wait the ipad reach here and try it out before get one.

outdoors reading, is terrible, if you have an iphone you should understand, the glare can really get in the way

Not reading outdoor leh. Like taking a half hr rest and you can read something. Reading while sipping coffee in starbuck. The most boring is checking in wating for plane when you have some time. Some more can playing some game and surfing.
