Come to think of it ... Actually I don't need a WiFi+3G version of iPad because my iPhone already have a 3G unlimited. Thus, I can use my iPhone as a WiFi to access the Internet with the WiFi iPad... ;-)

QUOTE(irwan6179 @ Apr 8 2010, 01:28 AM) Haha reading in starbuck would be nice. You'll be the coolest guy in starbuck for a while. At least before it's launched in Malaysia, which might take some time. Well, not in the hurry. See what bad thing will pop up with this first phase of ipad. And if it too bad, will just wait for the improvement ipad.I just like to sit and read something rather do nothing dreaming. Whatever coffee shop I will try. As long as it have coffee serve. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Apr 7 2010, 11:35 PM) Not reading outdoor leh. Like taking a half hr rest and you can read something. Reading while sipping coffee in starbuck. The most boring is checking in wating for plane when you have some time. Some more can playing some game and surfing. thats fine, if got extra disposable income, sure. although i find the iphone a good enough distraction, ipad means u gotta carry a man purse, murse... kekekeAdded on April 8, 2010, 9:44 amI've tried 2 accelerometer games. one is a racing and the other is a maze+ball+puzzle.. all I can say is if you're an adult, you'll look like a huge douchebag playing it This post has been edited by ktooken: Apr 8 2010, 09:44 AM |

QUOTE(irwan6179 @ Apr 7 2010, 04:40 PM) I think Ipad is suitable for you. One distinctive feature is that it is designed to be in standby all the time, just like ipod touch/ipod/iphone Ha.. thats it.. this is exactly what i meant... i wanna use the ipad as an Ibook. do i have to convert all my PDF files to Epub?I think he read something about IBook, which doesn't open PDF. You have to reformat to ePub coz it . But outside ibook, you can open PDF normally like iphone/ipod touch. |

You can even open PDF files with Apple's built-in Preview app... as for outdoor reading... even my Sony Ericsson phone can't be viewed outdoors... hehe |

Based on my understanding, I reckon he is trying to use his 3G enabled iPhone as a wireless access point for the iPad. Not sure if it could work though.
