Posting this from Studio A in Xinyi Shopping District in the vicinity of the Taipei 101. They're Premium Reseller for Apple products, and pretty well stocked too.

The same stock situation as in KL, they are also carrying Cygnett cases for the iPads, even though no iPads are in sight. The 3 different models, Glam, SecondSkin and Agenda.

Was at another Premium Reseller in Kwanghua Street, that place has Macally cases in stock, although the Macally Bookstand is nowhere in sight. Only silicone cases(yuck!) and hard cases with ugly(IMO) swirly patterns at the back. No clear cases, with minimal patterning.

An update on the iPad situation in LA. Good news on the folks in my Tumpang wanting 16GB and 64GB iPads, they have this in abundance. This was reported from the set of crew who have landed in Taipei and going to KL tomorrow. My set of crew is operating in LA tomorrow, and God willing, the stock should remain relatively the same there. 32GB iPads and especially the 3G models are totally sold out. Waiting list of at least 5-7 days, as per the online store as well.

Looking at among the crew I managed to "poison", looks like I may be able to get 4 people (including myself) to the Apple Store and buy 2 each. Now the irony is, I may be able to get enough people to get the Tumpang list fulfilled, but the stock now may be in question. Adoi, pening kepala!

Accessories should remain the same, should be relatively easy to obtain.

Then again, this is Apple. Today stock may be in abundance, the day I'm there, it may be out of stock again!

Better to wait for the iPad optimized version to come along, I don't dig using the x2 mode for this app. They should have made it a launch app.

Ditto. I SO want to buy this app, but will wait for the optimised version, even if the update WILL be free - I'm also puzzled why this isn't a launch app.

So...as for now... what's your alternative in editing Word files?

Anoyone using whatsapp in iPad? I've done the SMS verification using my phone and activated, even I add my fern also can the name shown.. The prob is if wanna chat it says can't connect server..

Currently Ipad only launched in US. International lauching will be around end of May.

You can receive attachments but while in email, we can't attach anything to the email.
The other alternative way is to open a document/photo/etc and send email from there.

wow, u did.. ur sms verification using other phone rite? using 3g or wifi i tot same for wifi, depends speed.. anyway which version ur using for the ipad?

u can write in notes, paste pic into it and email from there too. i think similar app should allow this too, for instance paperdesk, which u can draw in as well.

Thanks guys. I'm currently using QuickOffice on my mobile, I guess I have to do the attachments thingy similarly on the Ipad.

I'm a heavy email user, do you think the iPad will give me enough functionality to ditch my netbook altogether?

Ooppss..my bad... Actually I installed whatsapp on my iPhone.
I have tried running both apps on iPad but it doesn't work. I guess the app will check the iPhone or simcard IMEI number to ensure its unique to one device only.

Paperdesk don't have tab .. Good for writing notes but don;t have the power of Word...
