i encounter this with xbox360 controller before..just similar symptom..blinking2 for awhile.. but then off blinking..

check battery level..after playing for awhile.. controller off..

for ps3, not encounter this before..agreeed on above..either ur controller battery is dead..or ur controller is fake..and the battery doesnt last long..

*my xbox360 battery was a fake too..

trying charge by using ur ps3.. or if u have another controller.. try unscrew it..and change each other battery..it's a good test to find out..

if the same result is happen again..means it's the controller itself..if not..it will be the battery..

i suspect the battery could be spoilt..

maybe new controller different from old controller.. but all my controller sixaxis or DS3 can be charge

in any usb port..low speed or high speed with no hassle.. maybe u shud try another computer?

trial and error~ might be some USB settting in computer also..who knows~
