Well, it was announced at CES. If it was E3, that'd be awkward. But its a good move. Maybe not yet for us (but big opportunity if Sony did), but still big.

Heck, i'd love to watch Nur Kasih on HD. Not kidding.

im not really sure why a viao laptop would need PSN. cause its a computer. what doesnt it have that it needs psn? i think the idea to add it to bravia tv's would be cool except the fact that your psn friends list will become a bit awkward.

maybe to download movies/tv shows to your computer?
or chat with your friends online?
or download ps3/psp applications to your pc to transfer to your ps3/psp later?
or use the vaio as an "official" conduit to play ad hoc games on the psp via the net?

hmm i guess if you are in the US you can take advantage of the psn movies. but other than that there are already many alternatives... but i guess it would be a legal means to rent the movies but about the games would they allow that? i mean wouldnt be really easy to just infringe copyright and stuff like that. i wonder how they will work that out.

as always, the world is divided into US,EU,Japan.
