That's about right, given the size of your filter at 77mm.
If you are not sure you can also check online:

I could recommend checking out Canon at Sunway Pyramid as well. They offer Kenko CPL filter 72mm for RM150. Maybe with luck you could get a better deal.

I got the set for RM 150 from a Photomalaysia forumer. from what i heard, its better to get an well known one than an unknown because unknown brand filters will affect picture quality. but thanks for the suggestion anyway QUOTE(Blpy @ Jan 5 2010, 10:04 PM) Try Boeinh photo in sungei wang, They have a good variety of filters and ok pricing thanks for the info

good call yuenzhi! this is a good example of a poor quality filter, look at all those alien lights in the image! replaced the low end filter with a B&W (really superb quality and make, no fite) which cost me 4x more but worth it. The B&W is solid and the image comes out free of ghosting / flare. I point directly at light sources also the control is great, not like the cheapie show below.

QUOTE(project-o @ Jan 6 2010, 11:05 PM) Is yours the B+W F-Pro or XS Pro ? hi, mine is the B+W F-Pro version. When I took it out of the box, wow, feels heavy and well made, really high quality stuff and I'd dare say it's better made than the Hoya. However image-wise, you'd be hard pressed to tell the diff btwn B+W and Hoya. utopian - guidelines? I guess by reading forums lorr. I also learn the hardway and when I started going back to photography 6 years ago I used Kenko. Then without doing research I tried a relatively unknown brand (Octopus) from recommendation and found out the hard way that good filters matter. . THere are some people on the internet even say remove the filter and go bare but i dont dare to to that yet after investing in better quality glass. I'd say go with Hoya or B+W you wont go wrong one. If you're not sure about other brands, just post your question here and I'm sure someone will have an answer for you. zergling I own a 67mm Kenko Circular Polarizer (CPL) and compared to a Hoya Pro (about $300) there is a huge huge difference too in terms of image quality, however if that's your first CPL it's a good deal to start with. Slowly when you feel like something is missing, try the Hoya or B+W ones. You'll be blown away I guarantee you. This post has been edited by cysun: Jan 7 2010, 12:16 AM

I asked in 1 shop last time for the B+W one, the shop owner wrongly quoted me if not mistaken about rm200, i was like , then rupa-rupanya he said see wrongly, that was the price for UV filter such silly mistake by a well-known camera shop. Yeap, this is my 1st CPL
