Shouldn't be, I have been using OS5.0 for several months now without issue and since the 9700 is out which is on OS5.0, doesn't make sense for them not to support it. Even before this I have usually been on the bleeding edge on OSes using new builds not officially approved and not had any particular telco related problems.
