I have the same drive shaft problem of ketat ketat sound like you all. After I did wheel balancing and alignment by Perodua dealer. There is no more sound, may be a little bit, very minor. Perodua Service Centre says they will replace a new drive shaft for me under warranty. I just wonder how the mechanic judge correctly or not.

my wife viva elite have the same problem....

1) drive shaft "kakaka" sound when slowing down
2) dashboard nearby the glove box there got rattling sound when idling...
3) rear left side abs got "kruk" sound when going over uneven road
4) when brake apply..got rattling sound at caliper there
5) when turn on the car headlamp...radio giving whistle sound upon accelerating...

all the problem above solve except for no 2...

1) change new drive shaft..waited for 2 months...using for a year now...
2)they claim the screw to hold the ECU to the mounting loose..but they tighten ady still got sound after few weeks....its been a year ady too...
3)change only 1 side of the abs...causing the other side got"kruk" sound ady
4)change the brake caliper pin..
5)change new radio....

I have the same problem, hearing the "knocking sound" coming from the front of the car.
The noise comes when i accelerate as from 2nd to 3rd, 4th and 5th gear.
The sound worsens when taking a curving section on the road.
All sorts of part replaced, including shock-absorber-mounting rubbers (they seems to be of low quality anyways) but the sound did not go away.
So if replacing all the possible parts outside the gearbox does not solve the problem, there's only one more option left.
Considering the fact it makes more noise when turning either left or right, it only can be the bearings inside the gearbox.
Those bearings are from such low quality that a slight impact (hole in the road) can damage those bearings and cause the knocking sound to occur while accelerating or slowing down as this creates the greatest force on such bearings.
Refurbishing the gearbox is not really an option as this is expensive.

Since I'm survey this kind of problem, someone please advise me whut to do?

1) do minor skimming at disk brake or

my viva elite ezi auto has the same problem when slowing down and braking. my mom's myvi has the same issue too, and louder. i've also complained abt this prob to Perodua during each service. they always said they've fixed it but i just feel that the brake feels a bit tighter. the "kruk kruk kruk" sound is still there.

I also encounter the problem above. When my car first few year buy dint have any problem, but on the third year then the sound tatata comes out when you accelerating the car, even sometime it will happens on idling engine. But this sound not comes out always. It's like metal hits. Send to Perodua Center, the technician says maybe engine knocking or many carbon sticks at the combustion chamber. So he try to flush out the carbon out but the sounds still there.

The other one is the brake braking. When I drive around 90-120km/h and applies brake force to it, the sound kruk kruk kruk kruk. Don't know whether is the drive shaft problem or not. And haven't send to Perodua Center to check for this problem yet.

Does anyone encounter the same problem to me? Pls share the way to rectified it.
