Since dedicated servers are way over in the US, i imagine the latency would be around 500-1000, but still many people in Malaysia still buy this game.

So is it possible to play this game below 100 ping? Cause if can I want to buy it. The reason I haven't bought it yet is because I'm afraid it'll seriously lag in multiplayer.

to be able to play at such low ping you have to subsribe for a VPN service,u only could get a low ping

Well, the server is intelligent enough to make the geographically near players as host.

As such, you will play with the nearer people and thus makes the game lower in ping.

So should i buy the game for it's multiplayer? Seriously, I don't want any false information about the ping. If you play lag, just say you play lag. If you play no lag, just say no lag.

No it doesn't say more. All I asked was if the game lags when playing with Streamyx, and your screen cap has absolutely nothing to do with my question at all.

Ask yourself whether you played before a fps that doesn't have dedicated servers

I'd say out of 10 games only like 2 games are lagging. The more people buy mw2 in Asia region, the less lag there will be, provided the hoster is using some decent PC.

It depends on ur broadband also, if u using mobie broadband, then might get higher ping and much less stable due to signal strength. But so far, streamyx wired 1 should be no much complains. no lag.

Heck, I use mobile brandband also no lag unless is some problem with the signal. Also... the host migration and so on are IWnet weird matchmaking that cause it. It will be improved, but as far as pings go. Is no lag as long as is asian region.

which dedicated servers? i thought mw2 has no dedicated server?

nah anyway like belphegor said, out of 10 games might 2 only bad host.

I think it does keep things nicely pack and intense, although is quite bad if all camp on Derail.

Ive been playing off and on since i got the game.

Cant invest too much time cause im working.

But i have probably encoutered 1 or 2 laggy games out of the 100 i played .

So its ur choice .
