Below is just my little experience of me using the Razer Sphex which I bought roughly 3 months ago. At the beginning, it is 100% like most of the websites review, that mentioned the "sticky" bottom will seem to last even after multiple rounds of peeling and re-stick on the table top.
But after using it and I think I only peel it off and stick it back for not more than 10 times, the sticky part of the bottom starts to wear off (some part of the pad no longer sticky). When I pick the mouse pad up and look thru the room light, I can see the pad has quite a number of small holes (which I think is where the sticky material has wear off). So, what I'm saying is, this mouse pad will not last unless you stick it down and don't peel it off for good.
Second issue I yet to confirm will be the wearing down of the mouse feet when you use it on it. As I read from lot of the feedback that hard mat will tend to wear off the mouse feet.

QUOTE(Jehuty @ Feb 4 2010, 10:21 AM) guys .. wanna ask somethin regarding of DA 1.8k DPI .. my mouse seem to have that double click issue, even after i updated the firmware .. any other solutions to fix this? cheers Last time, my DA also acted like that, but only from time to time, not all the time. But 100% I'm sure is there until I bring the mouse to claim for replacement. Guess what? When the mouse is being tested at the shop, it acted ok again. The guy at the shop say sometime there are something stuck in between the mouse button and the contact point inside the mouse body, could be dust or small partical. So, try to knock lightly by the side of the mouse on the table and see if you still got this issue. If you still have the double click issue, then I think it is a hardware problem liao. Oh ya, just to mention that my DA still perform ok until now and the double click issue no longer appear. This post has been edited by ckshieh: Feb 4 2010, 10:55 AM

QUOTE(Jehuty @ Feb 4 2010, 11:21 AM) ckshieh : ermm .. means you knock the mouse a little and the problem is solved? guess i'll give that a try and also, i dont know if that's the double clickin issue but, whenever i press the mouse once it acted as a double click .. i presume that's the double clickin issue? Ya, at least this is what I think you can try out. For mine, I think it could be being knocked a bit when my mouse is being transport from my house to the shop, and adjusted it back to it normal operation status. Ya, that's consider as a double clickin issue, which is very problematical when you are using it.
