It depends on how you see it actually. I personally own a couple of Razer mouse,from the Krait to the DB3G and then the Salmosa and all had been working fine. And mind you, my Krait had been around for (i believe) about 4 years. Except for the usual wear and tear (rubber peeling off etc), i still have yet to get any problem with it. And my almost 2 years old DB3G are kicking fine.

I agree with a couple of people here that Razer mouse had probably one of the worse QC i ever seen on a gaming mouse. I handled a couple of Microsoft/Logitech or even SteelSeries before and they dont felt as "cheap" as the Razer. My Krait was OK, the DB3G is good, but the Salmosa was a joke. It just dont feel sturdy enough. But that doesn't take away the fact that they are indeed good mouse. I used them for a while now, and will continue to use them. If we are talking about problematic ones, the worse i had was the Lycossa, requiring to RMAed in just a couple of months. And yes, the Lycossa should be the worst product from Razer that i have ever owned. Not to mention, the most expensive.

And besides the usual Rubber peeling off from the mouse issues, all of them are perfect. Even the Goliathus Speed are working well for me. I am not sure which mat you guys are comparing it with, but i had the Everglide DKT previously and trust me, the DKT was far worse than the current state of my Goliathus. Overall, i just say i would hope that their built quality would be better but in the meantime, i will still stick with them unless i found something better.
