Hello everyone.

My last mouse (still going strong) is the Razer Diamondback Salamander Red.

For those that might not know what it is, here's a picture:

I would like to purchase a new mouse within the new few weeks or so. The main choice would definitely be Razer, given that I have purchased this mouse in Aug 2007 and it is still going strong, with some peeling of the black plastic finger area as well as the side buttons. Other than that, the tracking is perfect and the clear tough plastic is still over 90% scratch free. Even the plastic glides are working great.

As I have a fetish with the colour red, and I really love the transparent plastic casing and I also do not like the feeling of the matte black plastic surface (sweaty palms + knowing it will peel off), I would like to ask you all this:

Please suggest me a gaming mouse that fulfills the criteria below:
1. Red
2. Semi-transparent so the red shows
3. High reliability and durability

However, looking at most of the recent Razer offerings, I believe they no longer offer such great mouse like the Diamondback series anymore.. and it all started with the Diamondback 3G.

Any ideas guys?

how about the upcoming spectre?
it has customizable colours LED, so you can have red colour(or possibly any other colour, if your taste changed), and lights are on the top, side and bottom, and i think it's a rare new breed that doesnt have matt black rubber surface..
