3) Currently I'm staying in Penang, If my item is charged for tax, WHO will CONTACT ME? & WHERE will I need to GO TO COLLECT MY ITEM

Please advice!! THANKS IN ADVANCE!! smile.gif

From what online store do you wish to purchase it? Are you using any shipping forwarder services or the online store send it straight to Malaysia? hmm.gif

I used VShub several times before a very terrifying thing happened.
They'll give you a US address and you use it every time you shop and the items will be handled by VSHub once they arrived in US.

They'll generate and invoice on how much you need to pay based on the parcel's volumetric weight.
If you buy more, your shipping cost will be saved.

I also bought from an online merchant that send the item straight to Malaysia. No tax charged yet, since it is a very small package. smile.gif

Go to VSHub.com. Besides VSHub, there are many parcel forwarder services available.
I'm not using VSHub again. sweat.gif

SHipping payment usually covers the tax.
Hope this helps icon_rolleyes.gif

Why I'm not using them anymore?
Well, I bought two tshirts and Benefit's Celebutante makeup sets before.
I asked them to send the items in one parcel. But then, once my parcel arrived, the shirts are not inside! vmad.gif

Only Celebutantes there. Not only we have to wait like mad for a month ++.
doh.gif
So, I emailed (yes, this is the only way to contact them, they never answer your call) and they promised to send the shirts with express shipping to Malaysia. We've waited another 1 month (express shipping konon). Ai..

You know the worst thing? Their staff took my samples. And free gift from Benefit.
My free samples from Drugstore.com before were lost too.
How cool is that? Reliable? Think again.
I've kept a friend waiting for that Celebutante, my bf waited for his Ed Hardy tshirts.

This is an old, agonizing experience for me.
They even promised to compensate me by giving extra 30% discount for next shipment, but no. One time is enough.
As for the tax, VSHub cleared it for us. It's included.

I want to try comgateway.com. next time. You can google and see other people's real experiences wink.gif

Oh, forgot to mention. The shirts arrived and that matter has been resolved, but I don't think I want to take that risk again. smile.gif

The VSHUb, comgateway staff will collect the items for you smile.gif So far, I think it is legal.
But not all merchant wants to deal with fake address like this.

Once you sign up, you'll be given an address in US, a phone number too.
Fill them in when checking out your purchased items. They'll let you know once the parcel arrived in US.

Very interesting indeed! I purchased from Amazon, Drugstore, Drjays, Evisu.. It's good if you buy lots of stuff, making the shipping cost more efficient.

Kalau 1-2 barang, macam rugi la.. smile.gif
