I got SB400 because my D3 don't have build in flash. Why you need sb400 for? The power is the same as build in flash anyway.

QUOTE(Alexdino @ Jan 12 2010, 10:30 AM) Morning fellow forumers, If you want to go for SB600, might as well add a little bit more to get the nissin Di866. Di866 has more powerful flash and have more feature than SB600.I thinking of getting a speedlight for my D5000, any suggestion should i go for Nissin DI622 or Nikon SB600? DI622 cost only half of the price of SB600. Is it worth going for SB600? i read somewhere that SB600 doesn't support Nikon Creative Lighting System on D5000, D5000 need at least SB800/SB900 to have CLS enable, and these model are too expensive for me Although SB600 have a better quality and better overall build/compatibility with LCD, but DI622 seem to be able to perform most of the task, any experience user can comment on this? the function on each speedlight is the same? |

Anyone tried using 1.7 TC II on the 105mm VR micro? The manual says it can't autofocus but I tried and it does autofocus.
Is the manual wrong or I'm doing something dangerous? |

Depending on what you shoot too. If you can take your own sweet time to do composition, adjust the flash, review the output, then try again etc...
I think a nissin is already enough. |

Need some opinion here.
What is the prime lens you think is best to cover the focus range from 14mm to 50mm? Please suggests only FX lenses. I am considering on 14mm - Samyang 14mm F2.8 manual focus 14mm-35mm - Not sure what is the suitable lens. 35mm - Nikon AF-D 35mm F2 50mm - Nikon AF-D 50mm F1.4 |
