Why selling already? Upgrading?

Btw guys, which one do you think is better/more worth it.

Upgrade to D90 with 18-105mm kit lens OR keep my D3000 and buy a Nikkor 18-200mm lens?

I already have 18-55mm & 55-200mm but i hate changing lens doh.gif

For me, I would go for the 18-200 unless you decide you need the video and the extra controls and the built in motor of the D90. My Nikon 18-200 has been left on my camera since I bought it a very versatile lens if you understand the limitations.  thumbup.gif

Ic. I think it would be perfect to own a 18-200. But built-in motor of the D90 means i can buy 50mm f1.4 at half the price and also the HD video is very tempting drool.gif I'm not in a rush though. Will survey kaw2 first biggrin.gif Btw, what's the limitations of the lens? Can we see the distortion clearly at 18-24? hmm.gif

Although I use a D90, I can actually count with my fingers how many times I've taken video on it LOL.

It's not good? hmm.gif

Wide angle distortion is one of the limitations, the other is a "soft" spot somewhere between 100-135mm and I think you are also aware of the "zoom creep" problem. I'm not sure about you but for me I'm willing to accept these limitations as I gain the advantage of VRII stabilisation, a focal range from wide to tele without changing lens and AF-S fast auto focusing. Anyway look around for nice used ones. I bought mine used too.

Oic. Will we notice straight away that the pic has distortion? Can you post some examples? How much did u get yours for? VRII? smile.gif

Wow! Great point. Haha. I guess if I buy D90 then I can't sell my 55-200 just yet biggrin.gif
