Wait till your try the 50mm F1.4 AF-S ....

I played with it with my GF in the nikon showroom with her D3000 and now she wanted to sell off her 50mm F1.8 and get that lense.

Any necessary starter accessories important to buy at the beginning? Example, filter, etc. unsure.gif

I guess he would prefer D5000 than D3000 as it offer optional feature which is video-recording smile.gif. It isn't a must, but at times it could be handy with the feature being available.

I read maideii's post that he mentioned RM2,699 package of the D5000. It surely quite a good bargain they offered there.

BTW, do you mind suggesting the shops that mostly you guys visit for camera and accessories? Places around KL would be great smile.gif

nop nop... "AF" only mean can autofocus.. "AF-S" means got built in motor, so can AF on d5000 n below.

AF lenses (without -S) can only autofocus on body with motor, e.g. d90 n above
*
d70 and d80 also have AF motor on body

Added on March 3, 2010, 8:49 pmerm.. dii622 can shoot for how far ? i mean the flash light ? 100mm ?

izzit sb900 can shoot until the range for 200mm?

If both lens have same 50-150(for example), one is f/2.8 and another one is f/3.5-5.6 .

If both lens take picture without zoom, the lower aperture lens can take wider photo ?
*
