We need more suggestion, and I wonder what's the ideal area for the venue (cheras or something?).

QUOTE(powx84 @ Jan 20 2010, 10:52 PM) The Sandisk Extreme III is 30mb...but how fast actually is the entry level slr...can it fully utilise the super fast card?... The class thing about SD card is just to tell the minimum write speed of the card.Yeah, should be...but sometimes, different brand = different speed...even if its from the same class. In the case of microSDHC card, sandisk class 2 writes faster than kingston class 4....im not sure about SD card though... Eg. class 4 SD card will have a minimum 4mb/s write speed. While class 6 will have a minimum of 6mb/s write speed. |

Guys, don't feel so bad about ISO800 or ISO1600 from D40,D40x,D60. It is actually good enough for me.

QUOTE(dvlzplayground @ Jan 25 2010, 10:29 PM) that's not a noob question at all On top of that, AF-S lens give you the flexibility to turn your focusing ring anytime you want. Besides, you will get rid of the annoying "front element rotation" as the AF-S lens use internal focusing technology.in terms of value, yes the cheaper lenses would work fine. IINM AF-S is a bit faster and quieter, n probably easier to sell |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jan 29 2010, 03:47 PM) Self preference I guess. Yes, the whole AF point selected light up red for a split second. This is how I refer to the rule of third (my preference). Not exactly 1/3, but these are the closest points for it. I'm not good as doing AF then recomposing with shallow DOF, 50mm f/1.4 for example so I'll stick with the closest point. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « The more accurate lines you can imagine is the most outer AF points for each sides. As in changing from center to side? It does illuminate if I'm not mistaken, you mean it lights up red for a moment as you switch the points?
