I gave a call to CS yesterday regarding to the beyond things. They told me that we are a subscriber since 1996, so they are giving us a much better deal. Everything will be free, decoder, satelite, remote control, installation. And it will be free until april 2010. Is this consider a better deal? How many of you are actually a member since 1996-1998 and get a better benefits than me?

Ok, one more thing, as i might be relocating to another house soon, they told me if i stay with my current package, they will charge me RM150 for relocating. But if i subscribed astro beyong, then they will waive all the fees, i don't know how true is that, or the installer will charge me a fee for installation?

I'm about taking all the packages, imagine that i'm now paying RM18x every month.

i just went to CS and signed the beyond! The advisor told me i can keep my old decoder for RM80, should i keep it and pay RM80 or just ask him to take back?

Anyone from kota kinabalu, sabah got the beyond? Wonder how long do the installer need to come n setup for me. Can't wait to get the beyond and give them a try, as i just got myself a brand new DENON AVR-4810 receiver, and would really like to try how's those stock HDMI cable compare with those audioquest and QED HDMI cables, i do believe there's differences between them. Just like you can reach JB from KL say 4 hrs driving your very own mercedes, driving kancil also 4 hrs. What's the difference? You know i know lo

RM20 is chargable from April 2010.

BTW, the beyond installer are coming tomolo 11am.

OK, as confirmed, they come in today 9th 11:30am
installation took around 30 minutes, change everything, dish, cables, decoder and remote control. Then the installer contact CS to activate my new sim, just 2-4 minutes CS called back n everything is done.

talking bout the ESPN HD, there was a PANASONIC mobile road show in citymall, kk, sabah. They were showing off their 103" LCD TV, (YES, 103" i'm not talking bullsh*t) with HD recorded football match, watching distance is no more than 10 feet together with 5.1 surround sound, it's really like you are on the field, and it makes me stands up and imagine you are one of the player!!!!
So, i'm now saving up, i can't afford the 103" lcd tv which cost RM299,999.00!!!! But i might be able to save up for a true HD 24P projector which only cost around RM15k. Guys, once you have a chance to look on it, i'm sure u'll be poison like me. DANG
