QUOTE(maja_5365 @ Jan 11 2010, 02:51 PM) U mean switch off or standby mode?U hv to put it in standby mode to use the hdmi bypass.Btw what avr u using. The AVR is put in standby mode. AVR will bypass the video from decoder direct to plasma. The tv will switch one time normally but when for astro byond, it is more than 1 time. There was 1 time it happened 3 times and there was no picture after that. I have to off and on the decoder. I am using onkyo 607. |

QUOTE(azri @ Jan 11 2010, 04:48 PM) Maybe it's specific to onkyo setup? maybe better luck at the onkyo thread. thanks to all. However I can report that my setup works fine. It's one time switch and that's it. Never had any issue. Byond decoder > Sony HT-SF360 > Pana 42PS10K All on HDMI In fact I'm connecting 3 things to the HT - PS3, WD Live and Byond. It is only astro byond that i am having problem. I dont face this problem with my pc or my dvd player. >>>> found the culprit, is the hdmi cable that came with the decoder having problem. I changed to other hdmi cable solved all my headache. Bad quality hdmi cable from astro! This post has been edited by oimeng: Jan 15 2010, 12:56 PM |
