thats better be true. a lot of people (me) will be considerablly piss off watching world cup in that pirate-vcd level SD picture after going all the trouble buying LCD tv and installing byond and all.

For confirmation, Astro have come out with promo on world cup in HD ?

i can confirm that ASTRO B.YOND is much better than normal ASTRO on my 39" CRT TV. i am now resorting to watching SD channel on CRT and HD channel on LCD. Awkywardness to explain the situation to guest aside, i think thats the best win win situation for now.
(untill there are significant number of HD Channels)

Human face looks like a corpes on LCD compare to more more natural refined look on my RM700 CRT.
