finally...i got my astro b.yond installed
Registered on 15th dec
T&C on 15th dec
after many complain
installed on 5th january

it's still activating and software update
they didn't change the cable or the satellite dish...but they leave it to us..it's all here
signal is 220-222

but the weird thing is they didn't take back anything.....they say their boss told them not to take back anything

mine...he activate it in front of me with his HP

but very weirdly...when i ask him want to take back..right?
thn he say no need...lol

i tested the volume...eventhough didn't update yet...it works...not like other LYNers say that it doesn't work
and SD isn't worse...it's still the same and ABIT BIT better...maybe my eye blur

the new smart card is activating and i'm now using the old smart card to watch TV in the meantime
and old smart card can work on this new DMT

the old smart card can detect teh HD channel but cannot watch
it say the channel is not in your subscription

but i tried other recommend to switch to #18...mine become 185 instead of become stronger...lol

they have to ship from kl to sabah thn have to pass to my area's astro installer ..thn only can install
that's why it takes so long
but weirdly they didn't take away anything...i get to keep all...dn't know later they will take it away or not

if u have 1 decoder...they will give u the white 60CM dish...if u have 2 thn they will give beyond dish with 2 connector
if i'm not wrong la
cuz my installer also gave the 60CM dish to me....haven't install also...using the old one...the new one kept as spare
and yes...the installer should activate it in front of u...mine did it in front of me until his HP come out saying your what what successful thn only he left...will take around 30min -1 hour

anybody here that didn't take anything away from the installer like me?
seem that sabah astro didn't take anything back from us...or it's just me...lol
and how to switch back to #1?...cuz at the 1st day i change to #18...seem cannot changed back already

and anybody know what's the use of the plug for at the back of the remote?
upside of the place where they put the battery?

ya...mine also have a OK button from start
that's why can change to #18 but now seem cannot change back to #1
i can change actually but when i go back and re-enter...it's still back to #18

the software is 1.7.001 oct 2009
and the volume work as well...the installer press press all work

now my area is starting to rain heavily
astro is still watchable
none of the "service is not available" msg popped out
and i'm still using the old dish

hmm...i dn't know which of your part went wrong...have to ask someone who know
my cable is kinda new...2-3 years only...since i moved to new house
but my dish is very old....use back the old dish since i subscribe astro...i think got 10 years already

wah wah wah....so fast ah?
i wait from 15th dec ...2 days ago only install
i guess now they have stock...so they can install faster
