HDMI can carry both video + audio, why do you need more HDMI port?

if your amp is modern AVR, connect HD decoder to AVR to TV via HDMI

if your amp is old, can use coaxial digital audio, or even RCA audio

Can anyone confirm that the B.yond channels do not have any static station logos?
*
you plasma doesn't like the logo?
try using the TV zoom function, you will lost part of screen's real-estate, but this way you can get rid of the logo

full HD TV broadcast is very hard to come by, even in the advanced countries such as the US of A
you can actually force it to display 1080p50 using your full HDTV/AVR upscaling+de-interlace function

HD decoder will convert all channel content into final resolution in either 720p or 1080i depending on decoder setting, the HD decoder does not show info about the original channel resolution, so how do you know what to compare?

for your Sony video tape recorder, use composite video (yellow), and anolog stereo audio (white and red)

But for the anolog stereo audio, my video recorder has only one connection to plug in rclxub.gif I just used either one sweat.gif

yes, use either left or right audio will do just fine
if you like, you can use mixer to combine right and left audio into mono audio
