Anyone knows of the rate of International SMS to Philippines? Currently I'm using Maxis prepaid and the rate 50sen/sms is killing me slowly...
Hope bro here can advise. Thanks. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 30 2010, 08:57 AM) No problem. I guess I'll try it out. As I'm in a new housing area here many KMs away from the city, even Maxis is only getting 2-3 bars at most. That's why I'm worried.Coverage is pretty much on location dependence, so far I use it on my usual locations - PJ, KL Sentral and Port Dickson, still acceptable and no major issue. But still, better than 50sen/sms. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 30 2010, 10:00 AM) Erm. None of your friends or family members uses DiGi, else can borrow their phone and try it in your place before you venture yourself into DiGi. Just bought a Digi Prepaid pack (RM8.50 one) to test at home this evening. Let's hope at least can get 2 bars, then I'm porting over. Tested sms to Philippines (not sure if it went through until my friend replies) and my Free Talktime of RM2 was deducted by 10sen/sms. Tested sms to a Maxis line, also deducted 10sen/sms from the Free Talktime. Now, I'm confused. Luckily didn't get the Digi Easy Prepaid, coz International sms is 50sen/sms... then I'd be more confused. This post has been edited by Dashken: Sep 30 2010, 02:00 PM |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Sep 30 2010, 02:35 PM) Good for you. Yup, my Free Calltime still stays at RM1.70 after sending 3 sms out... Just let me get 2-3 bars at home... pretty please... Have you checked again now? |

Wee... just port my Maxis prepaid to Digi prepaid this morning.
Now wondering what to do with my Maxis credit, RM30, before my Maxis gets deactivated. Hmm... |
