Anyone knows of the rate of International SMS to Philippines? Currently I'm using Maxis prepaid and the rate 50sen/sms is killing me slowly... sad.gif

Hope bro here can advise. Thanks. smile.gif

Oops... hehe... thanks sis. smile.gif But is Digi's coverage really that bad compared to Maxis? I've heard so many things about bad coverage with Digi.

But can't really tell coz all my friends are on Maxis. blush.gif

No problem. biggrin.gif
Coverage is pretty much on location dependence, so far I use it on my usual locations - PJ, KL Sentral and Port Dickson, still acceptable and no major issue. smile.gif

I guess I'll try it out. As I'm in a new housing area here many KMs away from the city, even Maxis is only getting 2-3 bars at most. That's why I'm worried.

But still, better than 50sen/sms. biggrin.gif

Erm. None of your friends or family members uses DiGi, else can borrow their phone and try it in your place before you venture yourself into DiGi. tongue.gif

Just bought a Digi Prepaid pack (RM8.50 one) to test at home this evening. Let's hope at least can get 2 bars, then I'm porting over. tongue.gif

Tested sms to Philippines (not sure if it went through until my friend replies) and my Free Talktime of RM2 was deducted by 10sen/sms. Tested sms to a Maxis line, also deducted 10sen/sms from the Free Talktime. Now, I'm confused. unsure.gif

Luckily didn't get the Digi Easy Prepaid, coz International sms is 50sen/sms... then I'd be more confused. biggrin.gif

Your friend is using a Malaysia line in Philippines or using a Philippines line?

Nope, she's using Philippines line, from the prefix 908, should be Smart Communications. Weird right? Only 10sen/sms! rclxms.gif

Wee... just port my Maxis prepaid to Digi prepaid this morning. biggrin.gif

Now wondering what to do with my Maxis credit, RM30, before my Maxis gets deactivated. Hmm...

Better be quick because it is prepaid to prepaid, the MNP is usually done in one day or less than a day.... sweat.gif

LOL! It's easy when you really need to use it. But now, I can't just simply sms anyone to finish it. Aiyo... doh.gif
