trying to port over to digi yesterday noon.
at night i received a sms saying "there's some issue with your switch caused by your current operator. digi customer service will contact you shortly"

then no news till now.

i rather get a new number rather than switching network..
heard from my frens that switching cause a lot of time wasting bla bla bla..sigh

was thinking bout the same thing. however i'm using the same number for work.
i'll create even more trouble for myself if change number.

Able to retrieve it now, can't by OCS also in last few days.

my MNP was processed within 24 hours... i'm now on the Smarter Side! maybe it was easy for me because i've autodebit with my previous provider...

okay, i'm screwed. maxis and digi are kicking me like a ball now.

Please check with Maxis to see if you have owe them anything? Or you keyed in some wrong personal particulars?

DiGi Fridge magnets quality suxx maxx. Not real magnet, like rubber only

checked with both digi and maxis. spend one whole day doing nonsense. bottom line, nothing is wrong, but telco's MNP escalation team sucks.

I called digi, they say i have to check with maxis for the rejection reason.
I called maxis, they say my IC number does not match, but i cant correct it over the phone and i have to go to maxis centre. The CS redirected me to their maxis centre in times square.

guess what, maxis centre in times square already closed down. wtf.

went back to digi, double checked the IC they submitted is CORRECT. another wtf.
rushed to maxis in pavillion, the IC is correct too. big big wtf.

today resubmitted the application. crossing finger.

Just converted my digi prepaid to postpaid today, whole process took less than 30 minutes. The guy at the counter told me it might take 2-4 hours for the process but just after I stepped out of the digi center, my prepaid sim was inactive. Pretty efficient work!

it happen to me the first time i did porting, maxis will not tell you the real reason why the mnp fail cause they are kiasu one....

2nd mnp with the same number fail again and went to celcom check and got rm16 outstanding since 1999.....

after paying the rm16 my 3rd mnp successful....

tethering can loh, speed up to 700kbps and only capped after 3GB, warning=tethering will drain your phone battery veli fast....3 to 4 hours battering kautim edi...

never had any problem before when doing the MNP thingy..maybe u need to be self alert about your own matters..like outstanding bills, personal info n etc

my wife is on digi postpaid. she need to access to internet on her laptop, should she get the broadband or 3G 58plan?

BTW, there is no 3G or broadband coverage in Seremban yet

any recommendation?


Was looking at the coverage map. Found that a Kampung Gagu in Negeri Sembilan has 3G coverage but not Seremban town center...
