hi there, i'm a digi prepaid user..
i'm getting smses from digi in chinese..
i couldn't read chinese..how do i change it to english?
i tried *128# , everything is chinese there..
*
Call Customer Service. Or you can PM me and I'll get someone to assist to change it for you.

As for your Roaming, since you'll be there for a few weeks, maybe you might wanna consider getting a local prepaid instead.

Added on September 22, 2010, 3:25 pmFor prepaid roaming, it should be automatic. But no data roaming ya.

Added on September 22, 2010, 2:53 pmHow about *128*7*1*1#?
*
This should work. Just asked my colleague handling this.

Or you can do step by step.

1. Key in *128#
2. Choose 7 (if you're on prepaid) to change features
3. Choose 1 (this is for language)
4. Choose 1 (to choose English)

Good luck!

Hey there. Are you a new customer? If so, you'll have to wait about 48 hours before the system will recognize you as a customer.

If I remember correctly, DiGi plans to have 50% 3G penetration by end of this year.

Let me see if there's any info I can get from the network guys specifically on Melaka.

QUOTE(tai_digidestany @ Sep 28 2010, 06:14 AM)
SweetPuff, could you please ask the people in charge to widen up the 3G  bandwith in Kota Samarahan? The line is freaking slow compared to Kuching that can be fast like hell 24/7.
Perhaps DiGi missed out the point that Kota Samarahan has a lot of students since we have 3 institution her (UNIMAS, UiTM and Maktab Perguruan).
Hence, fast internet is really essential indeed.
If kuching can have fast internet, why not samarahan.
i have point this out to digi via facebook and twitter ( @Digi_Telco) but no further action has been taken.
SweetPuff, i hope you would make a highlight on this issue.
*
I'll highlight this to the network guys, but I'm not the CEO, I'm afraid tongue.gif

As far as I know, we're doing things gradually, and plan to have 50% 3G penetration by this year's end. So, plans are in the works to widen coverage to ease congestion.
