Memory lane, I just finish watching all the goal compilation of Henry goal, which contain his goals since the Overmars period, till the Invincible era, and also till Fabregas period, almost bring tears to me. Seeing all those goals and remembering the time he was still in the team, man those was the time, not that I'm saying our current team don't score beautiful goals, but still cant compare with even half of Henry effort it seem.

No matter it penalty, or freekicks, it seem Henry always add some spice into it, specially his freekick, if I did not watch the video compilation, I would have forgotten that Henry can also take very good freekick.

But 1 thing I do realize, during his time with Arsenal, during the Overmars period, till the Pires period, when he score a goal, he would celebrate with his teammates by hugging or such and such, but during the Young Guns period where Fabs, Hleb and Adebayor is around, it seem he did not celebrate much anymore, just some simple high five and such, maybe that time he already outgrew the club, never would have notice it if I did not watch the video compilation.

Anyway, great game today morning, I see us controlling the game for most of the time, great teamwork, and Song really know how to do his defensive duties, guess we going to miss his presence when he leave for his international tournament duties.

Nope, still true that there no clone for Tony Adam, the strong, tall and commanding defender.

Btw, on the upcoming transfer market, I definitely don't know who AW will get. Cause if he get a first choice player for any position, then one of our youngster progress sure will have problem. Or if he get some1 with potential, then surely we will have to many players with potential, sometime I'm really amazed with AW with all the decision he need to make laugh.gif Cause most of the time, he try to make every1 happy.

Come to think of it, 1 of these player decision that AW need to make is like the Vermy situation, where he need to sell Toure to actually let Vermy to get constant first team game, or selling Vieira so Fabs can progress more aggressively in his growth, decision after decision laugh.gif Lucky it all work well

Actually, most of us know there potential in Diaby, just that after his serious injury, he been inconsistent and poor in form that we tend to bash him due to his performance, but never actually want AW to sell him that much if compare to Ade.

Ade case very different from Diaby, we know Ade is a good player, but his off field behavior is questionable at time.

But I admit, Eboue and Diaby is good player, Eboue to us is like what Ray Parlour is to Arsenal in the pass, he may not play every game, and may not play every game that well, but when he do play, we know we have a good cover and a good player, something of a club cult hero for me.

On Diaby, I'm still reserving my comment for him, what I'm seeing now is just what he was able to do before his horrific injury or better by a bit. What I hope is he will grow to something like Viera, which seem likely currently if he keep his consistency.

but kimhoong.... remember last year what happened to Cesc? Spain won EURO and Cesc was instrumental in the run... but he was jaded and used up. He struggles to find his form and was beleaguered most of the time. Maybe it's because AW was trying some formations back then and it doesn't really suits us.

the longer a player went on interlull... the better chances for them to get injured! that's the scary thought weh. but i'm all for Vermy at DM. ehehehe

Specially Arsenal players, I never know why they always get injured during international, look at RvP, as far as my memory serve me, nearly 90% of RvP injuries was due to him out on international duties, which always make me go all doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif when I read it in the news last time.

Actually, why wont we just put Fabs at the DM position for awhile? Although it may limit his time going foward, but as a temporary DM, I think Fabs will do ok for few matches before Song come back.

Cause other then Fabs, we do have other attacking option for the midfield position, the likes of Diaby, Rosicky, Nasri and Ashavin will do ok filling the void up front left by Fabs for awhile.

Tonight the match against Bolton going to start, and seeing how MU and Chelsea won yesterday, we cant afford any slip up against Bolton, it more of a must win situation tonight to sustain our League push to win it.

Seeing how our team fight so hard for few weeks already just to close the gap with MU and Chelsea, we just cant let them regain the advantage again.

So, with defense and striker in check, what I'm curious is who will AW play today in midfield? Nasri, Rosicky and Diaby should be playing in it, Fabs on the other hand, I was wondering if is he fit enough to play today match?

wah... so soon start to curse Senderos tongue.gif He's still an Arsenal player now.

Honestly, although he has not win anything with us and always been the second string of players, Senderos has made little noise for playing lesser. He has been very obedient and a gentleman to me. Even he is on the edge of leaving Arsenal, he still states that he is still an Arsenal player.

These attributes deserve some recognitions from fellow gooners and Arsenal fans; well, at least from me smile.gif

I wish him to rise again and become a great CD in future, whether if he is leaving us or not.

I also agree with you. Senderos have been a very nice person, if I'm not mistaken, he is one of the person who help Fabs to settle down in London right?

Plus, he never complain about not playing to much. I always pity him for how he never were able to recover his form that actually bring us to the final of UCL with the string of cleansheet that we have during that particular run in the UCL.

Nah, it just that we are amaze with him. For me, Casanova devote so much of his time in hating and bashing Arsenal, and I always get some laugh after reading his post, cause he seem to be very passionate in hating and bashing Arsenal.

Cause I always have a saying that I heard from somewhere I dont remember that is, why put so much effort in something you hate so much? Why wont just stop wasting time and ignore it. But he seem to be very interested and passionate in Arsenal affair tongue.gif laugh.gif

-------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, back to Arsenal, I was wondering, when is our next match and against who? And would Arsenal show it live?

I'm not putting much hope in Song coming back early actually, cause Cameroon is one of those stronger Africa team in my book actually.

Anyway, Gibbs going to miss rest of the season? Pity the guy. Guess this is the season for Traore to prove to us why should he be the first choice backup to Clichy.

Our team is buck up actually. Only problem is injuries, most of us here already know is that if all our player are fully fits, the team will have too much good and potential player.

What I think AW should do is to think of ways to reduce the injuries. Cause we do have 30++ player in the first team. We have 4 goalkeeper, 10 for the defense, 11 in midfield, and 5 as strikers. It a lot considering we have players that really is as good as the first choice players when they are on their days. But our main problems are with the all the injuries that we have, for example, 5 out of the 11 first team midfielder are injured, with 2 our of 5 striker injured with some coming in and out from injury constantly, shocking when I really think about it.

Some ppl say we don't have good enough backup, but then, I always feel, even with one or two of our first choice player out, we should be able to cope with it. But from what I been seeing for the last few season, we are getting situation where even the backup players are out injured with their first choice counterpart, really make you doh.gif doh.gif a lot as an Arsenal fan.

So AW should definitely check on why does injuries keep on hammering on our team hard this few season.

But those situation are just for last few season, currently in this stage of the current season, I saw something better then last few season, that is at least we only have 2 long term injuries in our current first team, RvP and Gibbs, the rest only need 2 or 3 week then can come back already.

brows.gif My journey as an Arsenal fan start 1 season before the invincible era, though I do watch them during the late 90s and such, bt not as much as I watch now, cause last time when I was small, I don't know what the number for the sport channel, only know cartoon channel number laugh.gif

But when I think back, I was amaze at how was I able to be an Arsenal fans, cause when I started out watching football seriously, it was with my father, uncle and one of my older cousin, which are all Manchester United fan, and I have Real Madrid fans and Liverpool fans among my relative, even my sis is a MU fan now, I'm the only Arsenal fan among my relatives sweat.gif Oh, and my friends, they are Chelsea, Newcastle and Manchester United fans.
