QUOTE(sigheart @ Jan 7 2010, 07:52 PM)
Oh great. If we buy him and he plays well enough we'll be losing him every 2 years for a month or so to a useless cup which frankly nobody cares but the africans =/
*
laugh.gif alright then african players is out of the equation.

anyways like we all believe...we dont see fabregas leaving this transfer window
im quite positive on that
but if the impossible happens
im afraid there will be a turning point to our season. turn for the bad
he who is our captain, a leader and our talisman
he is so much more then playing well himself,he makes other players plays even better.
the backbone of our squad is held strong by him,if he leave poof gone case.

i really think all hell will break loose at Arsenal if he leaves
not unless wenger has found a suitable replacement for faby shoes
he will be a gunner for at least another season or more.

maybe that sums it up, what we need = backup striker
a decent one, and preferably not cup tied
what ivan gazidis mentioned we wont spend big = my guess is that we will invest say around at most 10-15mill on this transfer
and knowing AW, this african traore guy is a potential candidate.

just saw the quote from AW himself stating he predicts Bentdner would be back in just 2 weeks
im not sure if by that he means returning fully fit with match fitness..i also not sure lol confused between fully fit and match fitness

cross fingers* if by chance our match postponed tommorow...it would simply means 2 weeks is just 1 week from bentdner return..if thats the case
most likely we wont sign a backup striker. unsure.gif

i always thought kuranyi is one of those big size striker which has some certain class in them

gomez,toni,kuranyi,amauri,adriano,carew etc etc
alll not bad lar,if we are talking about decent backup.

kuranyi is not that bad afterall.
