but dilemma is, if put those super bling2 ram sink, u gotta remove d warranty sticker. u mite spoil d sticker (spells void of warranty) if u were to remove 'em, if u don remove 'em heat wont be dissipated evenly (thus defeat d purpose of puttin bling2 ram sink). serba salah... mad.gif vmad.gif sad.gif

unless u got special spray that can remove d stickers perfectly (from what i heard lah), those after u spray d sticker can be removed w/o sweat, but u gotta put double side tape/gam uhu/gam gajoh if u wanna stick 'em back... sweat.gif

Mesti lar not bad...its actually ok as compared to my previous Asus (2x mobo) and Biostar...
MSI i think had learnt from the past, and had built their flagship GD70 like a tank...pour any voltage you want, (I tested once, all voltage settings red) and the board manages to withstand without any hickup for 5 days...

Where got master, only know how to do....
Basically Bio,MSI,Asus AMD boards that I was lucky enough to play with where somewhat reliable and full of functions that allows many tweaks...I haven't had the chance (or the moolah) to try Gigabyte or DFI, so no comments tongue.gif
yup, gd70 has been sensational so far. ram tweakin was d best among all from what i heard. but i'm still worried bout d dr mos + lack of power phases if compared to other brand (i know more not necessarily better, just bein kiasu... tongue.gif )

it's a must try sir, both board are superb, too bad i didn't have d chance to try 790fxb of ddr3 flavo, but i'm sure it'll do as gud if not better... nod.gif

i dun think i'm gonna need that much, max i'll use is below 1.4v which i thin gud for a 2.5/2.6GHz nb freq. given limited mileage of this 'lil chip, i doubt i need super high nb freq. i'll be dead happy if this chip can do 3.6GHz w/ < 1.4v. nod.gif

d board is a proven value oc board, by pointin finger to d chipset/manufacturer is kinda unfair bro. other than asus 770 ddr3 board, i can't find any other manufacturer offer 8+2pwm for such value chipset, heck, d power phase even more than gd-70 which is top of d line from msi. smile.gif

google reviews on d net u'll find d oc results are some how impressive. but ofcoz, don't compare to 790fx based board lah... laugh.gif

3. how big is d impact to our day to day tasks (heck, even in benchies i seldom play w/ ram timing)

790gx a3+ is one of d easiest board in ram tweakin... almost as simple as plug, set major timing & volt, then test. my pair of geil ultra managed a 1700 w/o sweat on a3+, but on 790fxt, i can only hit 1680. so does that mean biostar > gigabyte? hmm.gif
