QUOTE(khfoong81 @ Feb 5 2010, 03:18 AM) my temp so high..using hyper 212+, seems no good for this hsf I believe that is normal if it's full load since you're running prime. If you think it's the hsf problem, try to reapply the TIM again. It makes some difference.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by XiuKeong: Feb 5 2010, 03:21 AM |

It depends. The longer it is, the better. To ensure your system is fully stable.

QUOTE(rxy @ Feb 11 2010, 12:45 AM) I only got a B50 and MSI 770-C45 to do OC. The vcore better don't set to auto.I was interested whether to run higher clocks steadily. I used everything auto, except multiplier,to run at 3.6GHz. And it restarted after few minutes running HyperPi. Any guidance please help me. |

QUOTE(rxy @ Feb 11 2010, 02:37 AM) Hmm..What about multiplier and FSB? BE mostly is depend on multiplier. Mine is a BE,should I depend on multiplier or FSB? And how does it mean by oc step by step? I have used 3.4GHz for daily use, gaming, folding stable for few days.. ANd I have tried using multiplier only. 3.5GHz is max I guess. It can perform HyperPi 1M calculation without any errors. But 3.6GHz couldn;t do that. From what I read last time, step by step means slowly find the limit of the speed. |
