hi, i notice that nowadays mostly warranty period is 2 years,

unless some promotion will get longer warranty for free.

i would like to know will you guys consider top up some money for extra warranty period?

and does the warranty really helps when problem come??

better to extend warranty especially those less branded ones. stay away from china or less known korean brand. I have repaired some of the LCD's and their boards are poor quality & easy to spoil.. The boards cost between RM400 ~ 600 so repairs are expensive.

if board level repair, can you just replace the chips instead of replacing the whole board? they should cost like USD1 - USd10 per piece..
