If you live anywhere near KL, go to Pasar Road. There's a lot of them there. Price is about RM10-RM20 for cheap ones. Don't forget to get the solder and flux as well. A regular sponge also helps.

there might be....go check out the tools section. should be somewhere around there.

Added on December 30, 2009, 8:05 pmlets see...tools needed for a 5 switch baybus...

assuming 1 switch is for CCFL and 4 switches is for fan controller (hi-low only)

- 1 on-off switch
- 4 dpdt (aka on-off-on) switch
- soldering iron
- solder
- appropriate sized heatshrink or electrical tape (heatshrink better)
- cables
- 6 molex (1 input and 5 output) - can use whichever type u like
- unused drive bay cover
- some form of drill to make holes on the drive bay cover.
- and pliers, wrench or watever to tighten the nuts on the switches.

* for the switches can switch around depending on wat u want.

so is there any risk of like overpowering the CCFL or like that?

also could i use that kind of switch to power on my computer?

I heard there are 2 types of switches

momentary switches used for Pc On switch and Reset button

and

constant switch used for CCFL,fan etc

am i correct? hmm.gif

that switch is mostly an on-off switch...u can use it for on-off function la...

no risk of overpowering... all the switches does it cut off the power going into the ccfl. just like normal house lights switch.

type of switches...yes u are correct.
