1. How many people are there in a room?
-> it depends on which type of room you stay in. if you are staying in a apartment, there will be one 4 sharing room and two twin sharing rooms, so there will be about 8 ppl in an unit. (i am not that clear about the condo, you have to ask other ppl on this) apartment provides you with cement badminton court, condo provides with swimming pool.

2. Are there television units?
-> definitely no. you thought you are going to enjoy in the hostel? laptop will bring you a lot of entertainment.

3. In a scale of 1-10 (1 is terrible and 10 is the best), how would you rate the hostel?
-> personal evaluation for the apartment, 5 is the max i can give up to. one of the reason is, quite expensive. i am sorry to say this, but this is real. when i was staying at apartment, there was an increment of rental of rm50 every year. yet, there is still only fan and no washing machine. no increment in the allowance for water and electricity usage.

4. Is there anywhere we can keep our personal belongings (like laptop etc) locked up?
-> table with a drawer, and the cupboard with lock. you can lock your valuable belongings inside there.

5. Are we allowed to decorate the room?
-> don't simply apply any double-stickers on the wall, or you will be penalized for doing so on the day you check out

6. How far is the hostel from the college?
-> the hostel both apartment and condo are within the campus. if you are staying in apartment, 1 min will do, if you stay in condo, about 5 mins will do

7. How far is the hostel from Sunway Pyramid?
-> a 15 mins walk from the college side gate or you can take sunway free shuttle bus, 20-25 mins per round. taxi is available at the side gate all the time

8. Are there rules like no entering the hostel area after 10pm?
-> sunday to thursday enter before 12am, friday and saturday enter before 3am

9. Where do we do our laundry?
-> washing machine is provided in every unit of condo, but not in apartment (you have to pay for using the washing machine with rm3 each time, and rm2 for dryer). however, laundry service is available at both side.

10. How fast is the internet connection?
-> foul words will be coming out from your mouth. the time when i was still staying in the apartment, internet always DC, but you can play lan games with your friends inside the hostel. thats the benefit of it. internet is not allowed to browse any so called "yellow" websites.

11. What should I bring when I go? What are the items available in the room?
-> table, chair, cupboard and single bed. bring your own belongings will do.

You will need to register with us before getting a PTPTN loan. During registration, just make a note to our Admissions officer that you'd like help with your PTPTN loan. We will definitely guide you through the process.

We're sorry but we do not offer a Human Resources Management degree at this point. However, we do offer a pathway via the American Degree Transfer programme which will allow you to get it overseas.

i am really interested in the course degree in accounting and finance offered, joint degree with uni of lancaster...
actually, i'm a segi student and it's my final sem in completing my diploma in accounting...
i wonder what is the maximum exemption i'l get if i enrol for this course in sunway......
just want to make things clear, how much is the fee overall and yearly.
do sunway provide internship?
what is the difference between joint degree and twinning program?
pls help me with this,anyone with info

actually i'm kinda scared as i heard most twinning program in m'sia are not accredited by MQA
and it creates such difficulties to make it to the next level.....

With regards to your enquiry, kindly be informed that the exemptions given will be determined when you provide your transcripts, results as well as your full set of course syllabus for us to evaluate. From past history, students will get up to a maximum of 5 – 6 subject exemptions, therefore requiring around 2.5 years to complete the degree. The fee yearly is approximately RM24,000 and the 3 years degree is approximately RM70,000 at this moment of time. We have a subject called Work Based Learning whereby all students are required to be based in companies.

Joint degree means the syllabus is from our own University College, and the partner university endorses and moderates the papers. Therefore, at the end of the day, they will get 2 certificates, one from Sunway University College and one from the partner university. Twinning means we adopt the university’s syllabus to be taught here, and ultimately the university will be awarding the degree certificate.

What's the diff between Business Management & Business Studies?

The difference lies in the subjects offered. You can review them here: Business Management and Business Studies.

Also, the Business Management programme has an Work-Based Learning option whereas the Business Studies programme has a Research Project in the final year.
