We pay by semester. 1 year got 2 long semesters and 1 short semester. Each semester the amount you pay is slightly different depending on the number of subjects you take. Different number of subjects = different number of credit hours. 1 credit hour is around RM480-ish, i forgot the actual numbers.

Usually we take 4 courses during the long semester. Let's say each course is 3 credit hours, 4x3=12, 12x480=RM5760, not including admin fees, lab fees and the likes.

It really depends on what sort of ppl you mingle with. ADTP is a mix of a very diverse group of ppl. I personally love the international community here. My best friends are from Korea and Vietnam, and of course there're plenty of Malaysians, Nigerians etc. etc. Like i said, your college experience could be very different from mine even when we're studying in the same course, depending on who you hang out with

The lecturers are easy to talk to, and some of them are highly qualified. I enjoy the classes much more than high school and A-Levels. Though if you're new into this, it might take some getting used to, cuz we're 60% coursework and 40% final exam.

Food wise, i find it adequate enough. There're 3 coffee shops, Orange, Pink and White. A small restaurant that goes by the name "Lunch Box" and a big food court across the road called Rock Cafe/Medan that offers a variety of choices, in addition to our in-campus cafeteria

It sounds a really fun thing to do. And i don't mind the 60% coursework. I've always preferred coursework over exams.
When u said u enjoyed doing this more than A-levels, does that mean you did A-levels before?

Yes 2 yrs local, followed by 2 yrs in US/Canada. You can do more (or less) than 2 yrs here, but either way you'll still have to complete at least 2 full years in US. Take less courses here means have to take more over there, which is much more expensive per credit hour. So usually we take as many courses as we can over here to save money

True credit transfer essentially means if you completed 60 credit hours here, guaranteed all 60 will be transferable to WMU. Usually, unis in Michigan state will accept our credit transfers because we're accredited by WMU, and follow the Michigan state education system, sort of. If you're more ambitious and aiming for more selective unis like Michigan Ann Arbor or even the Ivy Leagues though, they might not accept all 60 of them. It differs from uni to uni, and if nobody from Sunway ADTP has transferred to that particular uni before, there is no way to know how much of our credit transfers they'll accept until you apply.

Long sem is 14 weeks, short sem 7 weeks. Basically if you start in Jan, you'll finish your finals sometime by the end of April, sem break, come back in June for short sem, another short break, and finally a long sem from around Aug until Dec.

Might seem a lot to take in at once, since the system is diff from what we're used to. But it's definitely worth it me thinks

I see. Can we only transfer to the list of universities they provide, or can we try to get into other universities as well? I don't think that should pose much of a problem right?

Oh one more question, do you live within the campus or do you commute daily from home? And what time do classes start usually? And what time does it end?

I commute daily since it's only about 20 mins drive from my home to campus. I have plenty of friends who're staying in college condos, apartments as well as renting rooms off-campus.

Earliest classes are at 9am, the latest ones end around 4.30pm to 5pm. Though with the flexibility of our program, you can always take the afternoon classes, or cram everything into 2 days so you'd only have to come to school 2 days per week (did that my last semester, though i'm not particularly recommending it ). 2 days per week! Imagine that! My friends from other programs were green with envy, muahahahaha. Anyway, normal schedule would be 4 days of classes per week with Fri and the weekends off. No classes on Fri unless you're taking biology or computer science.

I'd take about 50 minutes to travel from where I live to the Sunway area. I've never really been to the campus actually. So I'm quite curious about how it looks like.
Oh and by the way, if I were to major in engineering, where would the classes take place? Do they have good lab equipment for engineering?

I'm not sure about the facilities for engineering, but as far as i know, the 1st 2 years in Sunway you'd be doing calculus, physics and a couple engineering courses, in addition to the general requirements like history, business and communications stuff. Depending on the semester's class enrollment (class size), your classes would be either in a classroom or in a lecture theater. The more advanced core of engineering classes you will only take after you transfer to US.

See, what sets ADTP apart from the British education system is its focus on a more all-rounded education. Employers want to hire people who are not only good in their field, but able to think critically using logic and general knowledge as well. The general requirements are divided into different sections, and you can pick the ones you're interested in out of each section. For instance in one section there might be Public Speaking, General Psychology or Sociology and you only have to do one of them.

Btw, they're not strictly "required" per se. Like my friends who are not planning to do Intro to Theater in Sunway can almost certainly choose to do it overseas. Or choose to do some other electives which are not offered here in Sunway but in US unis after they transfer.

Around 6 or 7 i think... I dunno whether they put it up on the website, but there's actually a separate course outline for engineering majors. That will show you exactly what courses you'll need to take, a guideline for what to take and when to take, and a list of the general education requirements as well.
