I have a R270 epson printer.

Recently after reseting the lifespan, I am stucked with another problem that the ink is always read as empty.

I suspect that the ink can go into the base of the printer, that caused it to not able to read the chip.

Does anyone in JB know how to repair?

Or I am thinking of dismantle the Printer myself, but not sure how to.

Thanks for any advice.

I suggest you to recycle the printer and get a new one instead, since they are quite affordable these days. RM2XX can get you a all-in-one printer already, if you need any entry level printer, some can get below RM100.
