I guys, I'm hoping you can help me out. My BMB sub used in my HT setup seems to be booming quite alot when I view the HD channels on Astro b.yond. Appreciate any help I can get on how to reduce the booming.

I've got satelite speakers so the crossover is set quite high from the AVR @200Hz.

With such a high crossover due to satellites setup, you're left with loose, inaccurate bass. If it's too boomy, just try to reduce the crossover slowly and the gain too.

This worked like a charm! I reduced the crossover down to 150Hz, then further down to 120Hz, and it sounds much better now. Thanks for the advise! The vuvuzula doesn't sound like a 747 anymore.
