I got the total weight for shipping break into 4 package. The shipping charges is actually USD 560.
The kit ships as 4 packages.

2 QTY:  18.25" x 18.25" x 16.5"  Each Weighing 60 lbs (the woofer)
1 QTY:  17" x 17" x 9.5"  Weighing 42 Lbs (amplifier)
1 QTY: 11" x 40" x 17"  Weighing 60 Lbs. (DIY pre cut panel)

Total is 220lbs. Calculate the kit is around USD  1125 + 560 = USD 1685 x 3.5 = MYR 5897.50 + 25% tax = MYR 7371.80 + MYR 500 (for labor and veneer by carpenter) = MYR 7871.80.

Now the final question... to buy or not to buy  rclxub.gif

Ya la..

Now the sound got alot improvement..

I just try on thus album: 惠威试音天碟Ⅰ.(人声试音)

How it sound now:
1) not so bright, very warm.
2) clean up alot rubbish, back gound sound more silent.
3) female vocal is very clear.
4) male vocal so deep and detail, can hear the song come out from his throat.
5) mid bass is a bit more powerfull, I never hear my Celestion 1 MK2 sound so good since my previous Nakamichi.
6) sound stage is more open with more bass extension.
7) make the speaker sound bigger.

I never believe power cord can make so much improvement.. sweat.gif

Wait til you try a power conditioner  brows.gif

For power cord, I have a few Supra Lorad, 2x Kimber Kable Classic, 3x Russ Andrew PowerMax Plus (still virgin sweat.gif ), XLO Reference 2 and 3. Last week tested out the power conditioner. Tacima is no match to this. Surprisingly good performance esp on stereo. Tightened up the bass notes, vocal becomes more focus and it hold well for treble too even at high volume. Now, thinking of getting it. Need to check how many US plugs and UK plus to be customized in it since can put 6.
*
Wow, u still have so many virgin cable...

Can power conditioner so good??

if i hear it i sure kena poison..

Which power conditioner is better?

I am thinking of getting the PS Audio Quintet that comes with 6 plugs in near future.

But then, I need to convert my UK plug to US type.  hmm.gif
The big concern is my SVS Sub with the heavy power cord. If I were to change a better power cord with the IEC type, will it filter out any unwanted noises in the SVS bash amp?? Can this improve the sub performance coz I still believe its original power cord.
*
About SVS u have to ask htkaki d lo... tongue.gif

Always upgrade from the source first to yield the best result. Then towards the final gear.

E.g : BDP/CDP --> AV rcvr / Amp ---> Sub
*
How can we upgrade our BDP/DVD?? change the power cord also? hmm.gif

Yes, my Dune Prime is using IEC plug. So, I can change it. If fig 8 like in Pana BD60, then have to get adaptor to connect IEC.
*
My is like Pana BD60, so have to go get IEC adaptor first..

U think any chance can get d IEC adaptor with conditioner?? tongue.gif

For audio part, i think changing the BD60 power cord of 8 type will not improves any further as the lossless format is being bitstream to our avr to decode. Just my opinion.

Added on May 25, 2010, 6:37 pmUnlike cdp where digital signal is being decoded internally......

I agree with ur opinion also.. But If ur opinion is correct then why every player will sound different??? hmm.gif
