QUOTE(klimal @ Nov 25 2011, 11:38 PM) LPF off at the subwoofer side. Let the avr do the bass management. It will send signals for the LFE from 120Hz and below to the sub. ohh.. thanks!!

im temporarily using satellite speakers and tested Rambo 4 blu-ray.. distorted during VERY BIG explosions... or is it because of the source can't output 7.1 on my 5.1? other movies no problem.... if you got Rambo 4 maybe can test and see.. QUOTE(htkaki @ Nov 28 2011, 10:59 AM) Maybe you need to set the crossover freq to higher. Try 120-140Hz since it is a satellite spkrs. Seldom that sat could go below 120Hz. okie.. will give it a try

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 28 2011, 04:22 PM) From my onkyo AVR manual, if the satellite has less than 9cm diameter, crosssover need to set to to 150hz or 200hz. ic.... i'm using center and rear satellite speakers from Onkyo SKS HT528.. it stated 8cm...... and front using tower speakers.. quite rojak.. Specs Impedance : 6 ohm Max input power : 120w output sound pressure : 81 db/W/m Frequency response : 80 Hz - 20 kHz Speaker : 8cm Cone... I've adjust both my center and rear to 120 Hz.. should be ok... tested on Captain America.. time to upgrade my center and rear! This post has been edited by car_men: Nov 28 2011, 07:30 PM
