May i  know the optimum crossover to set on my sub?

i am using the following 5.1 setup,

a pair of wharfy diamond 8 tower
warfy diamond 8 center
warfy diamond 9 bookshelf as surround
velo cht 12r

set the crossover on the amp or on the sub ?

I am using Infinity 12" sub woofer. What my natural sub woofer sound mean is simply natural, not too much powerfully. If I put high volume on my sub, the sound look very bad, almost want to break my woofer speaker. If I didn't put high volume on my sub everything seem ok for me. Explosion, current wave in the movie Blue Crush 2 is awesome, I can feel the current wave sound in my sub woofer is working pretty good...... My sub woofer is old but still can use.
I heard B&W sub is very good .... SVS is not bad also...

I like the word 'sane'  But how many of us actually listen to normal volume? Say -25dB or below?

For the first time, I tested Tron Legacy today at my place (previously, I watched quite a lengthy of it at mpyw's HT Room). Bl**dy h*ll. At 7m and 24m scene, the bass is the craziest that I'd thus far encountered. I have to back down the volume to -13dB from -10dB as the door and walls shaking until my staff came in and asked what movie that I was watching.

Even at that volume, my pants flap and the sofa really rumble a lot. This is the single most INSANE LFE that I had ever experience .

Me ain't sifu. Just average joe that likes to play with subs and share information
