Normally set the crossover on the AVR. The one on the subwoofer, set it to bypass mode.

QUOTE(dlyz @ Aug 6 2011, 09:15 AM) Not yet, sub yet to arrive. Shud land sometime next week. : ) I will try wat you suggest. You are using F12 as well? Scary, how did you know i was looking at subdudes as next upgrade was reading reviews on it. How much are they again? Google on subwoofer vertical mode. There's a guy discussed this in forum where sound improvement gain by choosing the correct height from his concrete floor, I think about one feet. Subdude too low to achieve that.

QUOTE(ainuddin @ Dec 6 2012, 10:02 PM) wah, long time no one post reply. anyway sifus, whats the optimal loudness of you all punya sub? mine need to put around 60% plus the sub channel at the av receiver need to up a few notch, then only the bass sound loud for me. is this ok? how loud can i blow my subs? put it at the same level with other channel. some like it hot...maybe +3dB or +5dB hot. What AVR are you using? Most AVR has auto calibration which set the level for u.

QUOTE(joydman @ Dec 17 2012, 01:28 PM) with that price by the time someone brings it here with the shipping and taxes guess it'll be around rm1600 or so. why not wait for the svs 1000 series. I understand maxx audio visual will be having them end of december and pricewise around rm2000, if not mistaken. svs 1000 series is priced around RM 2.5k ... exceed his budget already.

QUOTE(ericlawyh @ Jan 26 2016, 11:01 AM) I'm currently using the DENON SYS-5.1 driven by DENON AVR-X520BT. Since the DENON AVR is capable of 5.2 dual subwoofer output, I'm thinking to get another subwoofer. Question: Is Pioneer SW-8MK2 a good buy? better get the same sub.

QUOTE(hushymushy @ Jan 27 2016, 11:35 PM) sifu sifu sekalian.... i currently have a SVS SB2000 sub...and plan to get another one...however I saw a used Rythmik F12 on sale...pretty good condition now...under normal circumstances...it would be recommended to have the same sub but in this case....obviously wanting to go cheapo... how bad can it be if i mix both brands together for movie and music? better save for another sb2000
