after long struggle, finally convinced my family to buy a new LCD.
I'm looking for entry level but not sacrificing FULL HD in near future.
I've shortlisted 3 brands which quite the same price <=RM3K

Contrast ratio 60000:1

toshiba 40cv600e

Contrast ratio 50000:1

sony KLV 40S550

Contract ratio 33000:1

the most significant difference is the size and contrast ratio....
It looks like LG is a good bargain... but really hope some advice can be given
