QUOTE(andrewckj @ May 27 2011, 10:01 AM) Outperfrom. It is definitely a good time to collect more. Getting near to it's 52 wee low price at 2.16. However, not only CIMB disappointed with the dividend, I was disappointed as well. Like you said, wait for YES to flourish. I will keep this stock for long term. Cheers RM2.19 now P/S: Thanks for the attachment |

QUOTE(andrewckj @ Aug 11 2011, 03:57 PM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « YTLPOwer no longer a safe haven dividend stock. But I buy this stock with a forecast that YES will do well for the coming future. Time well tell. Good luck to all of us the YTLPOWER holders. Anybody know also know YES drain out lots of cash but actually they are making loss due to depreciation on telco infrastructure, only a handful people know accounting terms. So if u got knowledge on accounting, it is a upper hand for yourself before investing. Good luck to u I believe the Yeoh family will expand their business when time is right |

QUOTE(gark @ Aug 13 2011, 10:14 AM) With the expected dividend.. 9.4 cent, the fair value of share should be worth about 1.90-2.00 only. Unless the dividend is increased, otherwise it will not likely to reach your price. Also YES is expected to lose money for the next 5-10 years. How long can you wait? expected 9.4 cent? i expect consistent 0.1875 for each quarter, so sum out would be 0.75 cent |

QUOTE(darkknight81 @ Sep 26 2011, 08:53 PM) YTLP no light? 6bil have to repay for the loan, left with 2bil cash, with this quarter report, they could hold about 3bil cashNo right or wrong lol. QUOTE(gark @ Nov 22 2011, 10:05 AM) Yep looks likely dividend is going to stay at 7.5c total, until at least the YES breaks even... so lowest rate it can go is 1.50 based on 5% dividend. YES network is still starting up so this will be time the profit will take a beating, but it should be better onwards as revenue comes in and capex expenditures is reduced. net worth is based on book value, in fact they have to pay premium for the shareholder if they opt to take over, maybe 1.3-1.4 times moreSo far YTLPWR have spent around 300 million to set up the YES network and is expect to spend more. I wonder why they don;t just buy out Greenpacket, which is only worth ~500 million now. You get the subscribers, get rid of competition and all the infrastructure as they offer 4G as well.... i believe the cash they holding, is for the Jordan power plant. |
