Last week saw the first disposal announcement by EPF.

218,000 shares disposed. Small sum compared to the amount they have been accumulating since their dumping previously. Let's see what the EPF shark FM is up to.

sweating. If look at historical chart, even long term holders since early 2009 is on the brink of losing money.

I'm not familiar with MBSB bro. As for YTLPOWR, kindly refer to my comments below. Hope it helps smile.gif
YTLPOWR is still considered to be defensive. Quarter report showed increased in revenue but profit declined 40 % due to the YES 4G telco division draining out cash for expansion. At the current price, Dividend yield stand at 4 %.

I'm not planning to go in at 1.7x yet, but I will definitely when it hit 1.6x. At the current market sentiment, YTLPOWR is not attractive yet for me to average down as the upside is very limited. All I can say is that, the price will conitnue to hover between the region of 1.7x to 1.8x. As for me now,  I' rather invest my money on elsewhere as there are better attractive stocks out there.

Oh ya, by the way, my initial buying of YTLPOWR is a long term investment, with the hope and gamble that their 4g will be doing well. Cheers. smile.gif

Dividend for FY2010 is 9.38 cents (3.755 + 1.875 + 1.875 + 1.875). At share price of RM1.74, dividend yield is at 5.39%.

It seems like the dividend is going to be flat at 1.875 cents.

Assuming (4 x 1.875 cents = 7.5 cents), to be at 5.4% dividend yield, the share price is gonna be at RM1.40. brows.gif Perhaps, that is why it is being trash down as the dividend is diminishing. At RM1.60, the estimated dividend is at 4.7%. Still better than CD, minus the downside risk.

5-year chart of YTLP. Lowest seems to be at RM1.60. We are very near to that isn't it.

Are you sure? I thought I remember YTLPWR trading at around RM1.20 during the last financial crisis.

Maybe during 97-98 financial crisis.. I don't have the 10-year chart. 2008 -2009 din't go that low.

No. I meant the 2008/2009 crisis. I remember the price going down to as low as RM1.20. Then the price surged to RM1.70/RM1.90 after the annoucement of Power Seraya.
*
The chart say otherwise isn't it? Anyway, I can't find record of the low price of 1.20. Perhaps, anyone can counter check?

Edited: Found this. Lowest was RM1.3X. There is difference between tradesignum and yahoo with bloomberg . I am not sure which is correct.

Bloomberg
