Thanks buddy. notworthy.gif It does look like a promising counter and it's last closing price of RM 1.82 is not bad.

As for Tony, he seems to have turned over a new leaf. tongue.gif Listened to one of his sermon's lately. Quite impressive preacher. Plus their news releases for the counter are very transparent. The hotel's are going to provide solid recurring income which can be used to fuel their property developments. Solid landbank in very exciting areas. thumbup.gif They have won the trust of a large Australian investment firm, Charter Hall. thumbup.gif JV for little Bay, Sydney. Launching soon. brows.gif

TAGB and especially TAGB-PA are deeply undervalued. My guess is lot's of investors are having wait and see stance. hmm.gif

This horsee is about to take off. I give it not more than one year.

YTLPOWR seems to have stabilized at current level. Historically speaking it is a good sign. Don't expect much from WiMAX for the time being, until picture is clearer.

Power Seraya could provide a major upward surprise for this counter. Some very good signs over there. Considering it is their largest investment to date, it could very well propel this counter upwards in the coming months.

Will start to slowly nibble a bit. But not much. Getting more and more difficult to analyse this stock. A few eggs in this basket, thats it. smile.gif

Take it easy. Markets everywhere shaking from rising price of oil, turmoil in middle east.

Quarterly results are out and a littlie lower than last quarter. Currently the p/e (about 18) looking rather high. Further downside risk. YES also no indication of much success. High cost involved. Stay on the sidelines not a bad idea.

As I have said before this counter is becoming more and more difficult to analyse. Lucky for YTLPOWER has not invested in JORDAN as yet. If investment had already gone in, today can cry. laugh.gif

My timing was not as good as yours, I sold out a little earlier, before the bull went crazy. laugh.gif

Another possibility could be elections getting close. YTLPOWR as the first IPP and with most lopsided contract usually gets singled out for a lot of criticism and Barisan bashing by opposition.

Since Barisan is very scared and desperate, they might have to let YTLPOWR get some whacking blush.gif . How they gonna do it , dont know.

So looks like next few months might not be so good. At current divi rate, to earn about 6 to 7% returns, the price may have to go down
to about RM 1.50

Quite difficult to judge the future of this counter, too many possibilities!!! rclxub.gif

Why buy YTL power instead of YTL corp? At this high volatility market times, shouldn't buying the mother company which is more diversified a better option? Both are at similar price range. 1.6+ now.

YTL Power is a pure utility play. At times of uncertainty, maybe better than diversified business which actually is quite exposed to construction industry. If construction slows down, YTL Corp may slow down as well. hmm.gif

Hi Darkknight,

Its been a while. I sold off a few years ago. Just bought some ytlpowr-wb as I am
betting on the renewal of PPA in the next couple of months.
At the same time bought some YTL corp as well as they try for HSR. Also hopefully bidding to begin in the coming months. icon_rolleyes.gif
