Received my package today, trying it now...i use 1 teaspoon for 150ml of water cos my coffee cup is 5 ounce.
Firstly, i would really appreciate if it`s in bean form, becos the ground form is too fine for espresso machine or vietnamese coffee strainer.
2nd, i guess this coffee is more on the robusta bean side compare to arabica becos i know tat kopi luwak might haf 2 choices depends on which type are grown there for the civet to feed on.
I say its more on the robusta side becos of the subtle bitterness, very smooth. But good flavour in mouth, throat n nose comes from good arabica beans. So i`ll guess this product has a mixed combination on both beans but higher ratio on the robusta side.
Generally, the flavour and aroma is good. Really worth the money. I will post again when i try it out again using different amount of coffee n water. By the way, my testimonial has nothing against this product, just sharing my opinion and understanding towards it. Cheers !
One more important thing is, this coffee's flavour stays more on the top of the throat compare to other coffee`s flavour that stay at the back bottom of the throat. But the flavour really last darn freaking long, a cheap coffee flavour will mostly b gone after 5 times slowing saliva and onli left bitterness instead of flavour n aroma. GOOD PRODUCT !!
Owh, i forget this. Other coffee, no matter how good it is, will turn sour once its cold. But this didnt happen to my kopi luwak. I guess this is where the fermentation progess in the animal changes the structure !! Bravo !!
