Takara did have the Supreme Class Starscream but if I remember correctly, it was supposedly the Hasbro version pasted with the Takara logo. It was those type of exclusive in Japan.

Regarding the toy, no idea whether it is different in anyway but knowing how Takara does things, you can bet that there would be some minor differences.

As far as I'm concern there's no difference on the mould and paint jobs, the only difference is pricing, Takara's can go up to RM500+.
